We are a locally owned and operated Mercantile. So why “mercantile”?  

Back “in the day” shops carried a breadth of items and they knew their customer base. This breadth allowed them to service numerous needs within the community. THIS is what we want to be. We want to help you with everything from high-end cooking knives, to clothing, to cutting boards and general gifts. We want to be the store you think about when you want something nice for your or a loved one. 

We also want to be a true partner in the community. As we grow, we want to be engaged with schools and within in our community as a whole. 

Kindness is at the heart of everything we do so we want to show that every day, with every customer, and with our community. 

We have spent the majority of our lives here Paul being born in Houston and living in The Woodlands since 1976 and Debbie getting to Texas as fast as she could! We met in 8th grade and finally started dating late in High School. We were married, graduated college and have raised all 3 of our kids in this area; we couldn’t be more tied to this phenomenal community. As the kids are moving into adulthood, it was time to make a dream of ours come true and own our own business. We hope you will enjoy shopping as much as we enjoy your visits and giving our community a store we believe is very much needed. Boutique quality at reasonable prices and most of all, a staff and owners that are truly invested in this community.
